I am looking to start a European PBEM game for those Civvers in Europe who can't use the US patch yet. [Edit: we can now get the patch in Europe, so we will use the new patch]

I anticipate using the following settings:

Difficulty Level : Monarch
No. Human Players : 4 (potentially 5 if enough interest)
No. Ai Players : 4 (to speed things up)
Map Size : Standard
Version No. : 1.14
I claim The Celts as my starting civ.

The other settings are open for discussion.

I only play evenings and weekends, so only expect people to be able to churn out one turn every 4 days or so once we get going, with 4 people playing. I don't expect people to give up hours a week to be able to play this game.

Count me in pompeynunn. If you are claiming the Celts then I'd like to go with the Carthagians. I can only squeeze in some evening and weekend play so the proposed pace suits me just fine.

I would very much like to play in your PBEM game, but I have to tell you that the current UK patch is 1.14.

It has been available in UK version for over a week now.

Yep, I've just found out the European English patch is now available. I must have missed that one. So I guess now the whole reason for me starting the game is superfluous! Anyway, my offer still stands about starting a game, but we'll be using the 1.14 patched version instead now.

So far I've had offers from Archimedes and Essexloony2 (please PM me your e-mail addresses so I can contact you guys) - space for one more (or I may even consider a 5th player and bump one of the AI players).
