The Setup:
Country/Leader: Japan - Oda Nobunaga
Map: Earth
Map Size: Small
Difficulty: Chieftain
Speed: Standard

The Strategy:
My strategy will be to live peacefully aside the other nations, and city states, building a Military for defense of myself and my allies if necessary. It will be my goal to win by either the space race, or a cultural victory.
The Beginning: Turns 1-25 4000 B.C. – 3040 B.C.
In the beginning Japan is founds its first city, Kyoto as its capital and soon after sends explorers to start mapping the outlying territories, and happens across an Archer at an ancient ruin, and adopts its first policy. Time goes on peacefully and Japan adopts its second policy in 3400 B.C. – Citizenship, which will reduce citizenship creation by 25%, which should help nicely to help Japan meet its expansion goals. In 3280 B.C Japan comes across the Aztecs and has a nice meeting with Montezuma. Shortly after Kyoto expands its boarders and a worker is created.

Apparently you didn't read the OP.

Expansion and Invasion: Turns 25-50 3000 B.C. – 2040 B.C.
These years where most notably remembered by the expansion and founding of Osaka in 2480 B.C., the second city to become part of the Japanese Empire. Japan was invaded by barbarians twice and easily defeated. The Japanese Empire continues to grow and do well.
