HELP!...

I haven't had time to read full thread...but need help on this BADLY...it is driving me to...well...

Need to find a way to create cities and units within civedit, or something else, and save as bic. This is super big.
Want to be able to set not only start & end year, but number of years per turn too.
Would like to be able to set city population and improvements.
Would be nice to find an easy way to give all techs, up to a given point, to all civs.

If ANYONE can help me with ANY of these issues...I'd greatly appreciate it. Need to know these things so I can finish mods to post & share. Only other way I can do what I want is with a saved game, but then I have to play through 1000 yrs or so to get the kind of development I want...and I can only play one civ...so computer chooses cities & dev for other civs...not ideal.

Thanx...

It depends what you are using. If you are using the v1.29 patch (and PTW im pretty sure) you can place cities(and units), edit their size and improvements, and give civilizations all the starting techs you want. These are all under player properties. I'm not sure about year setting, I havent really done any scenario making

Those are only in PTW, and you can't adjust the end date, only the start.

Well I suggest you just open up the editor in PTW and start poking around in there. There's a few things to learn so I guess you better start reading.

You can set player properties in 1.29f.

Willem was correct. Year editting is only in PTW. You set the start date, how many turns are in the game, and the amount of time that moves in the turn. You don't directly set an end date, but indirectly you do.
