View Full Version : This is stupid my scenario is too big. The capacity of files has shrunk _Impreza_ Dec 24, 2002, 07:40 AM Now i cant even put my original into a PTW format. This is not fair. How do you expect people do understand or help you? _Impreza_ Dec 24, 2002, 08:39 AM Right when u upload a scenario it has to be below a certain size and my scenario is above that. But when i posted the same scenario last time but on a civ3 not PTW format it was ok. So does this mean the standard size of what u can post has gone down then? If so what can i do? I cant even post the original version of my scenario now so what can i do then? warpstorm Dec 24, 2002, 09:25 AM Okay, this is not a PTW problem at all then. This is a policy of tis website. The reason PTW files are bigger is that they have more data in them. What you can do is split your zip into multiple files. _Impreza_ Dec 24, 2002, 09:54 AM yeah i will need to do that then but i reackon as PTW is now out the site policy needs to be changed. Do you agree then? Ed O'War Dec 24, 2002, 10:44 AM Why not just use the file upload system? I think it can handle up to 3 megs for each attachment. Kal-el Dec 24, 2002, 12:07 PM The site policy has changed to lower the size of uploads to try and limit the number of server crashes, correct me if I am wrong. Therefore I think the best choice is to either use the upload system or find an alternate server and link to your files here. bhiita Dec 24, 2002, 07:36 PM So you got it fixed? or is this another one? |
