Hello Folks!

I'm wondering.

I purchased the Babylon DLC Package at Steam Release cuz it said, its usable in MP. When we tried to use it, we werent able to choose Babylon neither Mongols. I send the CiV5 Support an E-Mail , they said its actually working to use them in MP.

So I'm asking for help - Does anyone know , how we can play with our purchased 3,49€ DLC Babylon a Multiplayer Session ?

Thanks alot

As of 12/1 I have not seen one of those civs in Multiplayer, no. It may require everyone to have it...?

Me and my mate got them. You cant even pick them in an Internetgame you play alone (on private)

So, why they announce the DLC with "multiplayer-compatible" if its not? smells like betray.

its like you buy a car and after you got it, you realize your not allowed to use it on public streets. yeah, of course, you got the car so you got what u paid for, but theres no use for it. its like this DLC's ....

small correction.

If this actually happened with the car example, you have a legal recourse to sue for false representation. And in this case, one could argue that you do have a legal recourse to sue but the <$5 spent on the DLC is not worth the $50+ court fees.

So sad that we even have this thread. So much sadder that it says 'multiplayer' on the download and you can't use it. Even more sad that the developer doesn't care because they JUST GOT ALL OF OUR $5! hahaha.

And Wapa, what court do you go to that is $50?!?! You try and sue Firaxis and you'll end up with a retainer of $50K alone.

Although... a class-action suit against Firaxis may be the ticket to get this crap to stop. It's not fair of ANY developer to release an unfinished game that people pay for and then need to download more 'DLC' that actually contain fixes to the game that should have been complete in the first place. There may actually be a suit in there somewhere.

*end of rant*
