Charisma had nothing to do with it. the USSR logically presented why it can be considered vassalage, and why i shouldn't accept it. since i clearly cannot argue against the truth, i listened to them. their leader probably went to a few logic schools.

He didn't use logic, he bent the truth. How is that using logic?

He just did what every charismatic leader does, presents an argument that sounds Truth to the eyes of the naive, and as a result the naive fall into his trap. I don't see how it was anything close to vassalage.

There was (based on the orders given) a 64.2% chance (based on the laws of probability I was taught in date management) that you would have been destroyed that turn. Then I signed peace. It was a trap as he was leading your nation to be destroyed in an attempt to get me to declare war on him, getting all the democracy's who had defensive pacts with USSR (a good 10 of them I believe) to declare war on me. He tried to sacrifice your nation so that I would be destroyed. I didn't fall for it, you did.

When did I say that everyone was out to get me. What I do know, is on 4 different occasions, USSR attempted to provoke Japan in subtle matters.

a new religion has being (re)founded, in Mathis!

this new religion, called Mathalia, is an offshoot of Christianity, and the ony differences are:

1. Defense of Self, others, and the state is the most important belief. outside of the Holy trinity, that is.

2. Isolationism is recommended, Because you can get through life with little disappointments and Little Expectations. it allows you to Survive and Rely solely on yourself.

3. the only Authority that is supported in the holy book is the Authority over yourself. authority of the state, other people, Police, etc over your own life is not allowed. not even parents have a right to do anything more than Guide their children.

4. Evil is forbidden. the Holy book states that when the Person is Evil, it is classified as a mental illness, as humans are naturally Neutral or Good. a person who does an Evil action must do some Good actions to make up for it.

The religion has existed before, in Calgary, however, the Founding person and Only adherent has Died due to an Air raid over Calgary when the Canadian civil war broke out. he did, however, create a book, which survived as it was smuggled out to the United states, and somehow ended up on Madagascar.

the Emperor has studied the Holy Book carefully, and deduced that the new Religion is good, but will attract few followers due to its late founding.

An enterprising young woman is already setting up a company to produce goods for this new market, and has received some aid from the local government in Singapore. What's the difference between LP and XP? It's my understanding LP let you take provinces, and XP are experience points that you use to gain levels to increase your stats.

No, its more like 3 alliances.

LP is used for espionage, attacking, and research into your nuke program.

XP is used for expanding in peacetime.

The only DPs I have signed are with nations I don't have to worry about going to war with their neighbors anytime soon. For the most part, I've just been spending the pass few years in Havana building nuclear weapon after nuclear weapon.
