Hi, I'm looking for three for a PBEM game. All I ask is that you check your e-mail at least once a day to keep the game going. This will be a different kind of game. If you are interested, e-mail me with your e-mail address and tell me you want to play. As soon as the first three e-mail me I will start the game.

SCENARIO:
-The map will be on the scenario map "Traped" (yes, I know it's misspelled). I have edited the map so only the four corner starting positions are left. I also added a river on each starting land mass so city growth beyond size 6 isn't stiffled without granaries. Since there are no goody huts, I changed the barbarians from roaming to none.
-This will be a 2v2 war game.
-As soon as you find another person, that person will be your ally. You are free (and encouraged) to trade techs, maps, resources, etc... The other two people will obviously be your enemies. After you have allied with the first person you meet, you are free to discuss outside of the game (i.e. by e-mail or any other means). You also must e-mail the group to let everybody know that you have met someone and have allied with them. The other two people are allies, but they may not discuss outside of the game until they meet in the game. If by some chance you happen to meet two people on the same turn, you must decide on that turn who your ally will be before you save and exit.
-All victory options are enabled. Since only one person can actually win, if that person wins then the team wins.
-If you open up the civ3PTW editor you will be able to see what the map looks like. This will help you decide how you want to settle your cities and expand. You will also notice your starting land mass is quite small. I'm hoping the game will move quicker because you will be able to trade techs with your ally and progress quicker.

Hope to hear from three soon :)

You should have received your welcome e-mail by now. The players are myself, you, Nish, and Sage. I sent the welcome e-mail last night about 9:00. I also sent turn 1 to Nish and I know he sent it to you.

The general map of the game (as it is from the editor).

I think someone added rivers though...:hmm:

Wildfire, if you read the initial post you will see that I said I added some rivers. Rivers = growth/commerce = meet other civs faster = earlier alliance = faster game. I also deleted all the middle start points so the only starting points are the four corners. I added the exact amount of river squares in the exact same places on all four starting positions to be fair. The reason I chose this map was a) a random map could lead to unfair (ya, life isn't fair but I wanted a level playing ground to see who could be better and form better alliances and strategies, b) it's symmetric so everything should be fair, c) it's pretty small so we don't have to wander everywhere looking for fellow civs. If you want the edited version I would be happy to e-mail it to you.
