Every time I go into a Revolution I always get the message:

" [Put Indian Tribe here] has joined the side of the Tories...blah...blah...blah"

Has there ever been a time where they join YOUR side for a change?

Most of the time one or two of the close tribes do. I treat them well through out most of the game. and have missions in every village with all the right founding fathers. Even if they join the other side, they can be insited back to your side, or ignored. They usually aren that big a threat during the revolution.

Occasionally, covok48. :p Just send missionaries. And trade with them. Actually, I think doing it the other way around would give them more interest in your "religion", because I think that a missionary only amplifies their feelings for you. Cos if they dislike you a lot the missionary goes .

No because the time I declare independence I eradicated almost all of the indian tribes :D

The rest of them of course join the side of the King but they can really be ignored. They are even less than a threat to my well trained and equipped army and when my victory against the King is secured (almost all of his armies are destroyed) I attack some of the indians so I won’t get bored :)

Haha that's how many of my games turn out as well. But sometimes I'm nice and there's still an Indian town or two on my Continent...
