6th Agent Orange PBEM game

THE GAME IS RUNNING!

We have to decide on the max. number of players, map size and so on. And of course, when we want to start!

Right then,

Anyway how many are we waiting for?

I think the fewer players the better really...
Quicker turn around...

And map settings? Custom rules? Come on Shabbaman....

Well, I want to wait for imput from the others as well. I propose we take at least one other player, and play on a standard map (that's large enough) I think we can go for the standard rules as well (I don't see any AI respawning anyway:) ), so that leaves us to decide on what map we want to play. Or just random, I don't really care, although I hate archipellago.

i am in if you want me. Carthage would be nice.

Yeah, games get full in no time :goodjob: In no time everybody plays 4 or 5 games! I skipped this one, Statistica and OCC as I allready am present in 5 games other games :cool: I will keep track of the game/thread!

In which case I want this damn stoopid tactic to be either outlawed.. It allows the player an unfair advantage, they know the others race.... But they dont know yours...

Or enforced as a rule so that all players must choose random and customise their race...

This is downright sneaky rules EXPLOITATION and should be registered as an EXPLOIT!!!

No, I like knowing my spec abilities beforehand, and if I don't get that I at least want a surprise for all others, too.

No AI! I don't know about website stuff, but I think some gathering of statistics is nice. I haven''t really thought into it.

What on map settings? I don't care really, although I'd rather not have archipelago. Sedentary barbarians are my favorite, but perhaps we could consider playing NO goodie huts (i.e. no barbs) (in which case I must reconsider playing Osama...)

Allright, I have set up the game, and sent it to melifluous. I hope everything works fine. One important thing: don't load the game after your own turn! I messed up the first game myself, so this is actually the second attempt...:(
If it doesn't work, let me know!

One more thing: I've turned 'culturally linked starting positions' off. Seemed like more fun.

Looks like the game got lost somehwre in the aether between me and Killer. I still have the save I got from Mel so I'll replay it, send it on to Killer this evening and get this game moving again.

Hehe! It is the most intensive and fun game I have played so far. Playing with more humans will be even more fun (more exciting) I think. But it would slow game-turn progress dramatically....

Even with the AI's on chieftain it is a cool game! :)

Bummer! Every turn you play now will make it easier later when you have more time, because in the later game turns take much more time (I know out of experience).

You guys seem to match! I can advise you to start immediately, the shorter turns can be done quickly every now and then. For the later turns you have create time and totally focus on it....
