Hi!

I'm not very good at Civ, I find it very hard to beat the game at Monarch difficulty, yet the easiest difficulty setting is magnitudes to easy. For RFC:Europe, I found that editing the speed of my workers in RFCEBalance.py is exactly what I need to do to get a game that has exactly the right kind of challenge for me.

Is it possible to use these entries in other mods, and if so, how?

In the original RFC the worker speed is hardcoded in the .dll file. I believe SoI works the same way. RFCE is the exception, I created RFCEBalance.py early on to make it easier to balance the game without the need to mess with .dll files.

In other mods, you should be able to just give yourself a few extra workers with the World Builder.

Thankyou, 3Miro!

That adds another incentive to learn C++ ;)

But for now, adding the workers will probably suffice. Unfortunately, it feels more like cheating to do that in game than to modify it beforehand. I know it's practically the same, but it feels differently :mischief:
