The results of this poll will not be used unless the poll it is contingent upon results in a "Yes we want another war before the Industrial Age". The Americans and Russians were the two top options in the last poll. This poll will affect mostly troop movements and unit upgrades. A declaration of war would not be immediate, and would be polled.

I voted Russia. I think it's high time we get out of second gear and round out our FP region. I believe our priorities have switched to taking the Western half of the Continent. If this is the case, let's do Russia and take the best that we can get.

I agree that we should attack Russia, but I only want to take a couple cities. An invasion of the interior of Russian territory would produce few productive cities, and make our border with Babylon way too long. Lets just take the two cities closest to our FP, and then try to get peace.

I agree with eyrie. No prolonged, deep, invasion. Just take the cities near our FP and then sue for peace.

If we must go to war, I belive it should be a short and decisive war against Russia.

I think we should set our sights on Kiev as the last Russian city we want should there be war. Kiev comes with a supply of silk.

Quick campaign against russia, anything less would be un-CIVilized.

Although I hanker for the fertile and productive lands of the Americans, I have voted for war against Russia. This is with the proviso that it be the kind of war described above by Eyrei and Padma, as I agree that the sole purpose of the offensive should be to bring the area surrounding the FP under our control. Hopefully we can then use our expanded production base to prepare for conquest of America in the not too distant future :D
