I was just watching Dennis Millier and he was on his "Rant" (those of you of watch, know what I mean.....anyway......), he was talking about smoking/smokers and he raised a few valid points, in favor of smokers. They were:

The Smokers.

When increased polution limits the oxygen in the air.....who will have the easiest time adapting because of their decreased lung capacity, therefore leaving more oxygen for us?

When our eco-system totally collaspes, and the human race is reduced to a pack of roaming canables that will feed off of each other, who will provide the delicous smokey, BBQ flavor of human flesh?

Go check out Dennis Leary's standup, "No Cure for Cancer." He spends fifteen minutes discussing cigs and how much he loves em.

Opening line:

"There's a guy, I don't know if you've heard about this guy, he's been in the news a lot lately. There's a guy, he's English -I don't know if we should hold that against him- but apparently this is his life's dream cause he's going country to country, he has a senate hearing coming up in the next few weeks, and this is what he wants to do: He wants to make the warnings on the packs bigger! Yeah, he wants the whole front of the pack to be one big warning like the problem is that we just haven't noticed yet.

Like he's gonna get his way and all of a sudden smoker's around the world will be like, 'Yeah Bill, I've got some cigarettes -HOLY :):):):)! These things are bad for you? I thought they were good for you. I thought they vitamin C in them and stuff.'

You dolt, it doesn't matter how big the warning are. You could have cigarettes that were called warnings. You could have cigarettes that came in a black pack, with a skull and crossbones in the front, and called TUMORS, and smokers would be lining up around the block, going 'I can't wait to get my hands on these things.'"

When I was in uni, my buddy had this great idea: He started selling stickers that were parodies of the warnings on cig labels. You would just stick them over the warnings (Canadian warnings are pretty big anyway), and they'd say things like:

-Smoking can make you look cool.
-Smoking after sex or a good meal can be really satisfying.
-Telling me to stop smoking can be harmful to your health.
-Lighting up is a great way to mask that burrito-fart that just escaped from your butt.

Actually there is a brand of cigarettes with a skull and crossbones on them and the skull wears a tophat. There called Black Death and they come from Amsterdam. There slogan is "I like em an Im gonna smoke em!". The company that makes those also makes Go To hell cigs with another catchy slogan I cant remember and it has jokes on the back of the pack like: Can I bum a smoke from you? answer, go to hell. You cant buy em in stores, only the cigarette shops. I prefer an recommend the Black Death for those that smoke.

The thing that confused me most about cigarettes when I was very little is that there's a town in Massachusetts named Marlborough(pronounced Marlboro)and I thought that Marlboro cigarettes were made there, though I never saw a plant when I was there
