View Full Version : WHY are you kicking the FIELD GOAL, Fisher??

Could it be because your kicker had JUST DEMONSTRATED his TOTAL COMPETENCY by horribly missing almost the same kick just seconds earlier? Five yards was not the issue..... getting it between the POSTS was the issue.

Could it be because you did not have faith that, on 2nd and 1 from the 6 after the penalty, that you could get a first down in three plays (and thereafter a TD)?

It was absolutely insane! Who, in their RIGHT MIND, would kick the FG AGAIN after that horrible miss when they could just about WALK the ball into the End Zone, no kickers needed.

Or, could it be that I just checked my newspaper and told my wife "Gee, what are the ODDS that the point spread is greater than 3 and less than 6?"

Titans by FOUR.

Bets on Pittsburgh win.

Man, the bookies must be proud...... [pimp] :rocket:

Uh, maybe it has something to do with the Titans wanting to win the game?! Which they did.

Jeff Fisher's a fine coach. And any coach in his spot would have taken the same kick a second time. It's Football 101.

George wasn't in the game, the Steelers had ate the Titians running game for lunch all day, McNair had a bad hand, half the o-line seemed to be on crutches... :D
