I have finally made it to the Revolution. Was waiting for the King's army with one much bigger. Whacked the first 3 landing parties. And reduced his fleet from 6 to 2 man'o-war.

My question is: he has 13 units left. What if I sink the rest of the fleet. Have I painted myself in a corner? Will he give up? Or will it take a gazillion turns for him to build more ships?

I hate this phase of the game. BO RING.

If you sink his last two ships, and have defeated all landed units, then you win - regardless of how many men he has left in Europe.

I must agree that the final phase of the game is the least interesting, that is assuming you have prepared well for the final war.

Preparation? He had a total of 38 units, including the ships (6). I was waiting for him with over 60 Dragoons. Wasn't pretty :lol:
