We can trade economics or chemistry to the Zulus for 20g and 3gpt, but the Zulus are at war with Rome and Persia. They were recently at war with France. As of now, the Zulus have 4 cities left. A treaty would mean 20 turns.

France and Persia are industrialized, and have Cavalry. Rome is not industrialized (and may or may not have cavalry). Below is a map of the eastern part of the world.

If the Zulus are destroyed, it would count as a rep hit for a broken treaty. This is informational.

Does this include a peace renegotiation treaty? If not, wouldn't the reputation hit fall on the Zulu for ceasing payments before the twenty turns lapsed?

Also, is there any chance of a tech we trade them going to someone we don't want to have that tech? Or are the French far enough ahead that we don't much care?

I fear that the latter is more accurate Feodor. We are a "backwards people". :(

I don't see the point of this trade or the poll.

I think it would be ok. I don't feel that the blowback (If any) is enough to back away from the gold we recieve. 20g + 60g is gold, even if we loose some of the gold due to its owner's destruction.

By the way, I think that the rep hit would go to the Iriquoi, not us. (Check the rules though)
