All buildings may be built in a city (where the land is included in the house price) or on a land tile. Only one castle and one palace may be built on any single tile. If built in a city, castles and palaces include an estate. All buildings outside of a city must also purchase a land tile or arrange land use with the tile owner.

Homes do not have a Base Defense but do receive points from Defense Works. Defensive Value is Size Class * amount listed. A castle (class 5) gets a 10 point defense value from it's armories. A tower (class 1) gets a 2 point defense value from an armory.

A = Available for upgrade
I = Included in appropriate numbers
# = This many included
Bedrooms may be combined to form suites or great rooms.
#living rooms = The buyer may choose from living room, den or game room for each.
#other rooms = The number of other rooms that are included. The room type for each may be bedroom, living room, library or dining room.
#upgrd rooms = The maximum number of rooms that may be added to this home style.
srvnt rooms = Rooms for the household servants. There are enough rooms to house an appropriate staff.
srvnt area = Working, recreation and usage areas for the servants. There are enough rooms for the staff level.
A hall may be combined with a ballroom to create a demigrand hall.
full baths = A full Roman bath with calderium, tepidarium and frigidarium plus changing areas, furnaces, etc.
armory = Armor and weapon storage plus training/exercising areas.
fort = Basic fortifications
guard house = Living and training areas for a household guard.
extern. fort = External fortress such as a perimeter tower.
A guard house and external fortress may be combined into the same building.

Upgrading / selling
Homes may be upgraded at any time by simply purchasing the upgrade. This increases the value of the home by the cost of the upgrade. We will purchase homes for 90% of the current value of the home as part of a new home purchase deal.

Physical startup/expansion requirements: 90% of list price (you save 10% off normal physical requirement costs).

Company Setup
The company is shared by its partners in 25 portions. Partner share will be taken into account in all decision making processes with proper weight applied per share. Majority weight shall decide all issues. The company will be run in day to day business by an autonomous CEO elected by the partners.

Distribution of Profits
The CEO may, at his/her discretion, withold up to 10% of all profits in a company account. These funds may be used at the discretion of the CEO for speculation in real estate and housing, expansion of the company and to cover costs in downgrade deals. The remainder of all profits will be divided into 24 equal portions. One portion shall be remitted to each partner share. The remaining portion shall be remitted to the company CEO in lieu of salary.

Partner Benefits
Partners may purchase, for their personal use, all products at an additional 10% discount of company standard prices.

Selling Partner Shares
This company is privately held. The partners must agree in principle to any new prospective parnter before shares can be transferred to create a new partner. Partner shares may be freely transfered between partners.

I no longer want to upgrade my large palace. Please do not charge me for it :)

I vote no, not because of the person but because of the history of not letting shares pass people. Instead, they should be deleted to increase spreading of money to the other shareholders.

@disorganizer - Every past vote to pass shares to a person has been approved. Only passing shares to a non-person (business entity) has been voted down.

@Shabba - Yes. A business owner can specify that Acroama construct their business' physical structure. In this case it is a first business so is paid for by the RPG.

I vote yes to uphold Shaitan's will and pass his shares to Donovan Zoi. I don't think we've ever made shares disappear...

Shares disappeared once when a player abandoned the game with no instructions on what to do with his assets (Leningrado).

You get a 2106 trade-in allowance on your Mansion, so taking that from the 4230 cost of a Sm Palace leaves 2124. And since you are a partner in Acroama, you get 10% off that, for a total of 1912g.

Well, if I say yes, you will probably find some other way that I can't be a prince. ;)

Edit: It appears that the Count title you own may have been from an earlier appointment, which was missed for downgrading by the previous administration. ;) No matter. It has stood this long, I will confirm you as a Count, but I suggest you buy that Mansion at the earliest opportunity. :)

@CG: a basic Sm Palace runs 4230g, and can be used for Prince/Archduke. Of course, that title has additional land/gold costs, as well.

And yes, the Bank of Valhalla has done many mortgage loans in the past. So long as we at Acroama get our money up front, we don't care much where it comes from. ;)

I have an old small house on Mt Doughnut (SW N-14, contrary to the housing record). It was originally built for an old hermit who was revered as a prophet. The old man has since died, and weeds grow around the building...

No more. I am upgrading the small house to a full castle. Turn the two 'other' rooms into another bedroom and library. I will also add a Great Hall for the use of the gatherings of the Knights of my order.

The name of this great structure shall be 'The Hall of the Cedar'

Since my tenure as Governor of the Southwest Province is up I'm looking forward to moving back to Palanthus. It's about time I built a proper place to live. I want a special palace (with 12 upgrade rooms) built on tile TS-M-14.

It comes with:

7 bedrooms
3 living rooms: make them a den and 2 game rooms
7 other rooms: make them 2 living rooms, 2 libraries, 2 dining rooms and a bedroom
12 upgrade rooms: make them a den, 2 offices and 10 bedrooms

That gives me 18 bedrooms. I would like these combined into suites as follows: 2 each size 2, 3 and 4.

I would like the palace built in two wings around the central hall and ballroom. Each wing will contain a living room, dining room, library, den, office, game room and bedroom suites of size 2, 3 and 4.

Should be a little over 10,000g.

I'd also like a couple beach front houses built on tile TS-M-15. Make 'em large with 3 upgrade rooms, please.

I think I understand how you came by that impression. When Prince Shaitan died, we had to elect a new CEO, and things were a little unsettled for a while.

As for your building, it depends on how big you want the Mission to be. ;)

I know you have a large structure at the Marillion, but IIRC, that was largely donated by Prince Shaitan. Perhaps if you told me your needs, I could come up with something.

For instance, we have current blueprints for a COmmunity Center, as used by the Lance Fund, which is based on a Mansion shell. We convert 2 living rooms and 2 upgrade rooms into gathering hall. Add hall for performance hall. Convert 4 bedrooms and 2 "other" rooms into barracks style common sleeping hall. Convert kitchen and 1 upgrade room into large kitchen. Convert 4 upgrade rooms and dining room into dining hall. Add hall for community center. The cost for this is 3625g.

Padma: After you are done with the stadii, how much would an upgrade to the Palace of the Antartic (located in Penguin, not Bohemia) cost?

To those inquiring about stadiums (stadii?): I am currently engaged in discussion with the RPG managers on this issue. If it is approved, I would expect to charge about 5000g for a basic stadium. I will keep you posted. ;)

@SAaM: You currently have a Small Palace. (Is tile BO-C-2 not correct?) To upgrade to a basic Large Palace would be about 1700g. For a Special Palace, expect to pay over 4500g. Prices will vary, depending on the exact specifications, of course.

I would like to know how much it will cost to upgrade my large palace to a basic special palace?

After settling myself at the Bohemian KuenstlerHalle in Bavaria, I went on my first visit to the westernmost lands. In the end, when i arrived in the town of Karachi, i fell in love with the desert landscape :) Looking at the city, as i was coming to it by train, i had this great idea.

What i now most desire is to build a high tower, one that could be seen as far as Krasnoyarsk and Sant Regis. It would stand in the eastern corner of the town area, built upon a rock that stands there. It should stand as a landmark for the great Fanatika, right on our neighbors' borders.
It should be around 3 times higher than the usual tower you build, and so i imagine it would cost something like... 6 times more than the usual tower (300g).
I can pay as much as 2000g, plus some money i want to gather from organizations and from the government itself, as i will be donating the building to the Mayor of Karachi and to our beloved country.
I'll be posting a sketch of my plans soon.

But I have assembled a construction crew and dispatched them to Penguin to start work on your Palace upgrade. The new construction will provide: an additional bedroom, an additional living room, 2 additional "Other" rooms, 2 additional Upgrade rooms, an additional Dining Room, a Hall, a Steam Room, a Pool, Full Bath, Stable, and an additional Armory. Kraft=Power in german so it would literally be the Tower of Power, but we are a german civ.... So german is much more appropiate.

ok, here's the design for the tower i just made. I used several resources from the internet as to get an idea of renaissance-style buildings, and put them all together. In the end, it looks more like a gateway-castle-tower complex than just a tower, but i like it anyways :)

Goodness! This is quite some ... er ... tower! As much as I hate to say it, I think my original estimate was quite a bit off. This is certainly larger than even a Grand Palace. I'm afraid to say that my estimate for construction costs has skyrocketed Assuming this is not to be used as a place of habitation, we can trim a few corners, but obviously, there must be a few rooms set aside for maintenace staff, and for the convenience of visitors. I think, bare-bones, nothing added, it will cost at least 12,000g.

I truly regret saying that. However, to offset the sting, I will raise the contribution from the Lancre Fund to 3000g.

I had expected something like 6,000, 7,000g. 12,000g is sure much more than i expected... but i think it is money well invested.
If the comunnity really wants to spend all this money on the project, i'll carry on.

Anyways, being such a monumental project, i assume it's going to take a lot of time before it's completed, probably not being finished until beginning of term 8. What i suggest is to build it (and pay for it) in parts, building first the tower itself, then the secondary towers to the right, and then completing the gateway.

With this donation from the Lancre fund [thanks a whole lot!], plus my donation we could gather an initial 5,000g for the beginning of the construction. As more cash flows in, we can work on the rest of the project.

However, the charter for the Acroama Homes partnership stipulates that the partners must agree to allow a "new" partner to join. A majority of the current shares (12/23) must vote to allow him in.

I want to build a soccer stadium in the city of penguin.. We would sell suporter effects to the different soccer teams in fanatika. I was told to ask this question at acroma: How much would it cost in total? We need to both manufacture and sell the goods...
