Small Town Story
Mini Mafia Game
It would be first mafia game hosted by me. It has rather simple rules. Preferable number of players: 20. (minimal: 16)
Characteristic for this game would be lack of fancy setting. It would be a general mafia, without special flavour. Just a small frontier town, probably at the beginning of XX century...
There would not be a lot of special roles. Lot of players would be just townies.
Rules:
1. Only winning as a part of one of sides counts – it does not matter if you are alive at the end of the game, so giving your live for the sake of your’s side victory could be a perfectly reasonable strategy
2. There should be NO COMMUNICATION outside of the game thread. Yes, NO communication during day, and NO communication during night. One and only exception: Mafia would have their own quicktopic. But PM’s and similar forms of communication are strictly forbidden. For your own fun, please observe the rules
3. Wounds system:
a. Attacked person can get wounded instead of being killed (1 chance in 3, but it can be modified by abilities)
b. Wounded person cannot take any night actions (but can write in the thread and vote)
c. Wound is healed after full day and night cycle (for example, person wounded at Night 1 will be healthy again at Day 3)
d. If wounded person is wounded again (before healing the wound), he/she dies immediately
4. Gender rules:
a. Every character has a gender
b. Everybody knows what is the gender of every player character (it will be listed on the list of surviving players names)
c. Attacked person (if he/she survives) learns gender of attacker
d. If someone is protecting attacked person, protector gains knowledge of attacker gender, and attacker gains knowledge about protector gender
5. There would be no descriptions of night kills and other actions in the game thread (only information about people who died, no info on wounds). So, completely no info for people not involved in night events.
Other than that, standard rules of Mafia apply (would be described in details in the game thread)
