I usually get errors a lot on my edited game, here is my latest *Note I have downloaded no patches, and please don't ask me to, my comp screws up when I download them also 8| *

Because I made a Europe game w/no settlers I wanted to increase commerce in terrain tiles to balance the fact that you'd need more defensive military

When I tried to load it, it errored

Then I tried changing the settler to a sea worker to make roads on roads, I called them "trade routes" to allow colonization accross waters

This didn't work either 8/

It seems all I can edit is governments and the geography

Any help?

Btw is there a lil newbie editor help message-thread-thing

If you are unable to d/l patches, you should ask the Infogrames department in your country to send you the latest patches on CD. After all, you are legally entitled to them.

If you're getting the same error message downloading files as you do with your mod, I'd say the problem is with your computer. You shouldn't have any trouble downloading the patches, that's just a basic computer function.
