View Full Version : CIVIII friendly surface maps for 3D programs

Grey Fox is having problems with pallettes and flicster that has given me the idea of civIII compliant surface maps. since we're having so many people making units now I though it would be a good idea to start a library of surface maps for the different unit fmxs to make easier to convert rendered models to playable units.
being that I'm new to the 3D scene, is this a feasible idea? and are bmps the standered form?

I am not sure about surface maps.... I think palette .PAL files could be alot more helpful to work with colors besides brown.
