Hmmmm. What's wrong with city size in ctp2. I have build all the improvements and stuff, and my cities won't grow any bigger than 600k inhabitants. Still in the score, there's possible to get points from cities over 5 million. Just wonder what I do wrong???

That 5 million figure is just not possible.

IIRC, the maximum anyone has achieved is 61.

The biggest city I have is 282. I have no idea what I did to get a city this big, in fact, all of my cities are giant. Severel over two hundred, more over one hundred. I have gotton cities this large in only one game, I have never been able to replicate my success

So if what you're saying is true, that kind of destroys our theory. It's a pity you don't know what it is you did that caused that....

First off, it was in the first CTP, not the second. I did not notice that the thread was for CTP2 until after I posted. Secondly, I am sure it is a glitch. All my cities are huge, but only in this particular saved game. No other games have cities near this size. I think that their size is supposed to be 1/10 of what they really are, but as far as production and gold etc. they work like they were 282 and such.

Oh...CtP1...that makes more sense.

I've managed size 90+ cities in CtP1, so I have a feeling that it is possible. But at 200+, you'd be having massive unhappiness problems, wouldn't you?

no not really just put more entertainers in the towns and they stay happy

maybe because I play at the easiest level ?
Anyway, I got over that max of 61

i only played this game once and thought it was crap but now i play it again and i think its a great game
i am not very good at it yet the biggest city ive got is 41 :( :( ::cry: :cry: :cry:
oh well ill get better soon but when im good then civ III comes out and i play that instead

I think my best was 47 or something but by then the only civ left were the French and I had almost killed them when Global warming occured and thats when I quit and declared it a win...I just couldn't be bothered to play anymore...
