I've just played that game on a friend's computer...

I really think that those people who made it are quite stupid. They speak very poor English, and know nothing about strategy games. But above all this I believe they were drunk while programing...!

Well, CTP isn't SO stupid...
It just takes time to get used to it.
MUCH Time. And even then it's not even near of being even close of Civ2 or Civ1.

Well I have Civ2 and CTP2 and although Civ2 is better I still think that CTP2 has some merits and sometimes it seems that most of you had already made up your mind that it was crap before you even played it...

I bought CTP2 in December...it's even crappier than CTP1(couldn't go over 600A.D.)
i desinstalled it n ,in June,i sent it by post to a firend who lives in Québec.
He played it a bit n doesn't play it anymore.

I Have both CTP and CivII. The main differences are in the user interface W/ CivII being by far more user friendly.If you re going to be quick at CTP you'll have to learn the keyboard.The AI in Civ II is also superior ;But,by way of comparison,CTP offers both a more science fiction type world and infinitely more guerilla type subversions.It adresses slavery,Biological warfareand Electronic and Enviromental Terrorism while CivII does not.If you are unable to use the vast non military powers that affect a world then CTP is not for you.

I hate Call to Power! Worst game ever! Extremely slow!

Agreed. Moving a settler from one square to another takes about 10 seconds

well i find it dont take long at all
im on 64ram and i have np my mate is on 256ram and he didnt even notice enemy turn

u all just complain to much, u all have ya difrent thoughts on this matter but mine is that you have all closed your eyes o the next step in Stratergy play, and i beleive release of civ3 it will be all CTP2 players who are kicking ass in servers as we have had the expeirience

Well, CTP isn't SO stupid...<br />but a sid game is better <img src="smile.gif" border="0"> Ctp is good, but civ is better

I much prefer CTP over civ 2 Btw you can adjust the speed of the settlers.

I have Call To Power, and echoing everyone's voice that has half a brain and any experience with Civ1 and Civ2, ctp sucks! :nuke:
