Sorry, I just got confused about the "World War" premise. Is this about the Seven Years' War?

The War to End All Wars is about who will Rule the Planet. so presumably not

This has got nothing to do with World War I or the Seven Years War. It is like the first World War but set in the Early Renaissance Age. The Map type will Be Continents and Everybody has got as long as they want to get there civilization going and then when everybody is ready then war begins during war you can settle new Cites but they have got to have proper defence. And you Can Research Any Tech in the Renaissance Era but once you have researched all Renaissance Techs you cannot research into Industrial Techs.

Note: When I come to Make The War to end All Wars II - Civilization V World at War II that will be set in the Industrial Era.

So how are you going to stop us from researching Industrial Age techs? I don't think that's even possible. A possible exception would be that you'd have to research all Renaissance Age techs before researching any Industrial Age ones. Kind of like in Civ3.

Ladies and Gentlemen the Game Hasn't Started yet I will post the date of the Start of the game but yeah I will host the game and you go into Multi-Player and then to Internet the game will appear on the list as "the War to End All Wars I" At the Top or somewhere down the list people who join will be Asked to Join as soon as Possible but you will have a 20 minute Delay to join and chose your chosen Civ on the menu.

I think that internet play would be too hard to coordinate (espescially with my ever-changing schedule). Perhaps a PBEM would be better?

I agree with Sparthage. The problem would be if someone didn't get on for a while.

Where's Siam? They adopted european technology and were never colonized by any european power, being uninvaded untill world war 2.

Hi Guys by the Way I haven't yet quite figured out whether I should make this a forum game to make it live on the net. Some of you have good points it would be a problem if one or a few of us was not on for a while. But I haven't thought through how it is going to work with those points in consideration. So you guys are going to have to wait until I make my final decision putting those points into consideration in my final decision. With the case of Siam I have very if not any knowledge about them so I didn't add them into the game. So keep posting until next time.
