I've been using cable and dsl access for years... DiamondzAndGunz Jan 23, 2003, 05:57 PM Yep, I've had DSL for a while now too. Great for downloading all those updates, modpacks, units, etc.. Sid Jan 24, 2003, 12:07 AM OMG, a turbo-charged dojoboy! Here's to the next 1001 posts :goodjob: Grey Randall Jan 24, 2003, 11:15 AM Welcome to the land of high speed. I remember when I was running my servers off an ISDN line, then quickly got frustrated with Verizon and went with business class DSL when I moved from suburban VA to Washington DC proper, now in Tampa, I moved to RoadRunner business class. I din't realize how slow things used to be until I put together a computer for Tenshi's mother for Christmas... and all she has is a 56K modem installed in it. I kept thinking to myself that pregnant snails moved faster. Additionally, my Gossamer G3 may be demoted to another server on my network. I just got a line on a friend of the family willing to sell me a G4 cheap Woohoo! No more conflicts with video and my OrangeMicro USB/Firewire card!!! jpalacino Jan 24, 2003, 04:32 PM Welcome to the world of high speed connectivity! Running DSL at home and the fabulous T1 at work (gotta love those blazing fast downloads!) This'll come in really handy when (if) PTW is ported to the Mac  :wallbash: Just don't hold your breath on the last one.:cringe: |
