That one was RTS. What type of game is the computer version? ------------------ -PaleHorse76- All rights reserved, all wrongs avenged. stellar converter Nov 05, 2000, 07:37 PM uh...not for comp. its a table top game. you bye .5"-6" miniatures and make armies out of them. go to http://games-workshop.com for more info. its a british game and its bloody expensive. you usually bye the miniatures separately. they also have other games like:wh 40k, mordheim, bloodbowl, gorcamorka, warmaster, etc. ------------------ the best *&%$#@ chess player around here stellar converter Nov 05, 2000, 07:38 PM btw, its turnbased. only way it could be done. but its awesome! its fantasy ------------------ the best *&%$#@ chess player around here damunzy Feb 03, 2001, 02:34 AM Yeah, I have played Mordhiem and also War40k. Mordheim is kewl. I like gaining experience and buying more equipment. I still perfer D&D over all of them though, especially since the miniture games get so damn expensive ------------------ <FONT face="tahoma">All rights reserved, all wrongs avenged. I love that game - and the new rules makes it more easy to play and much more fluently. http://forums.civfanatics.com/ubb/snipersmilie.gif ------------------ S.P.Q.R. stellar converter Feb 06, 2001, 06:46 PM may i ask how much money you have spent on these armies? WOW ZOOKS! what, no wood elves? they are my favorites. i would kick serious butt with 5,000 point wood/high elf army. wish i had the money to play... shadowdale Feb 07, 2001, 03:09 AM To ask me how much money I have spend on: Games Workshop products D&D + AD&D Other roleplaying games Magic the Gathering Other card games and computer games Is not allowed - if I hadn't started playing all those games I could have had my MC right now, but no, I just had to play all those games. BTW, my best friend plays Wood elf, so there was no reason for both of us to buy them. We are three guys playing warhammer fantasy, and together we have all these armies: Bretonnians Undead(Vampire counts&Tomb kings of Khemri) Dark elf Chaos warrior Wood elf Lizardmen Chaos dwarfs Deamons Orcs & Goblins Beastmen Skaven http://forums.civfanatics.com/ubb/snipersmilie.gif ------------------ S.P.Q.R. Cimfindriel Mar 19, 2001, 09:11 AM I've only ever watched, but was dying to play. Too expensive for this poor student...maybe someday. For now, MERP and D&D will have to do. ------------------ <IMG SRC="http://forums.civfanatics.com/ubb/ninja1.gif" border=0>"Engarde you silly fool! You are no match for my so fine rapier!" He who sacrifices his conscience to ambition burns a picture to obtain the ashes. - Chinese Proverb MrSparkle Mar 22, 2001, 07:10 PM I have a modest 3000 point Ocr and Goblin army. I no longer play but enjoy painting the minatures now and then. My minatures dont look as good as those at Gamesworkshop but to me they do 'cos i did it myself. My favorite part of my army is the crazed goblin fanatics. Drugged goblins with a huge ball and chain spinning around going through my own ranks as often as not. ------------------ I am disrespectful to Dirt! Can you not see that I am serious? shadowdale Mar 23, 2001, 04:42 AM I don't paint - I haven't got the patients to do it. And some of my best friends are really great painters so I don't want to have my funny looking knights fighting against their really cool looking miniatures. One of the is Jacob - the guy who won the Golden Deamon Slayer Sword in 1999!!! http://forums.civfanatics.com/ubb/snipersmilie.gif ------------------ Veni Vidi Vici. If i had a room where i could leave a game set up on a table then i would still be playing. But oh well, i have Civ 2 too keep me company. ------------------ I am disrespectful to Dirt! Can you not see that I am serious? Mongol Horde Apr 05, 2001, 12:07 AM I used to play warhammer, 40k, bloodbowl,WFRP until my ears bled. I haven't got anyone to play against anymore so I sold my armies (what an idiot). I had a dwarf army and a chaos army for warhammer. I had a genestealer coven and an ultramarine army for 40k and one or two teams for blood bowl. I used to love WFRP, I was GM most of the time. Ahhh those were the days. HIEROPHANT Apr 14, 2001, 09:50 AM I have warhammer for the playstation. |
