The governor is in charge of posting build queues before every set of turns are played, and for general administration of that province. The governor is also a member of the Senate, which must pass changes to certain laws for them to take effect.

Though I know he won't accept and will wait to get this office again by appointment unless samizdat runs for this office which means that my nominee wouldn't get this position by appointment so he may want to consider running here although that would mean he would not get a fifth chance at the vice-presidency or a chance to actually become president which is what he really has wanted all along so I am probably just wasting my breath here by doing this but I think it should be said:
