No idea about the teams but as you all picked the Raiders to win I'll do the opposite:

Raiders 20

Buccaneers 23

Raiders 24

Raiders to win 30-24. They're 3-6 at the moment, (11:10 in the 2nd), but hey, but I'm too tired to watch it. :ack:

Tcha, you'd think they could put it on at a more reasonable time. :p

Anything other than live and you would know the result before you saw it. I stick with Tampa Bay to win. They just got their second interception and their defense is shutting down the Raiders' offense. They've only gotten 2 first downs so far. Still 6-3 Bucs.

Hehe- Tampa Bay is winning right now. 13-3, the defense has shut down the MVP. Rice has no receptions, Brown isn't going anywhere, Garner drops ball after ball. Meanwhile Sapp, Rice, and the cornerback are owning the Raiders.

This is wonderful. I've been rooting for the Bucs since the 49ers game. 49ers beat my Giants, so I went with Bucs. Eagles have beaten my Giants, so I go for Bucs. Raiders beat my Jets, so again I root for the Bucs. I hope they win. The team deserves it.

Anyway, Bucs win: 23-13

Reminds me of trying to watch the World Cup live; it was about 3:00 AM Pacific Time.

Tampa Bay winning 20-3 at the half. The Raiders' #1 offense can't do anything against the Buccaneers' #1 defense.

Yeah, reminds me of the '90s when the NFC dominated the AFC almost every year.. the Bucs just look quicker at almost every position than the Raiders.

At least one former Jaguar caught a TD.. Keenan McCardell, that was good to see.

It's official. Bucs 48, Raiders 21. Defence wins the game.

At least Oakland picked it up in the second half and it wasn't quite so lopsided as the first half. Scoring only a field goal in the first half is very disappointing for the Raider's offense.

the bucs deserved to win, their D was great. This game was over before it even started. Gannon could get nothing going!

The game lasted too long though. I was bored by halftime. Al those waits and commercials. They should speed up the game. Less breaks in play would be better....

I called Bucs 18-15, btw. Despite the fact that we share the same last name, I must laugh at Gannon - 5 picks, sacked 5 times. He got OWNED by the Bucs' D.

good defense always beats good offense and vice versa...or not

I felt sorry for the guy. I've watched Gannon a lot since he's been with the Raiders. He's one of the most exciting guys to watch - he throws pinpoint passes, he makes great decisions, he can run if you need him too. I've never seen him look so lost out there. The Bucs played a mostly perfect defensive game, and Gannon & Co. could never figure out what was going on out there.

The sad part is, they had to give just one player the MVP.. in my view, the entire Tampa Bay defense deserved the MVP award. Was Dexter Jackson's two INTs any more or less valuable than Simeon Rice's two sacks, Dwight Smith's two picks for TDs or Warren Sapp and Derrick Brooks' continued disruption of the Oakland offensive line??

Yeah, some guy on the Bucs said, "Every play they ran, we practiced." Gannon almost had the record this year for total passing yards, right? He just got shut down.

ouch

A very unfortunate showing by the Raiders, or perhaps just an incredible job of preparing his team by Jon Gruden. Anyway, it made for a pretty boring Super Bowl...
