The DFZ has 8 shares of that were returned to it when the assest of Leningrado were dissolved. It has been decided that an auction would be the best manner for reselling the shares.

All profits of this auction will go into DFZ's account.

This is how the auction will work: all participants will place bids for a single share. After a 24 hours from the last bid has passed, the winner of the auction may buy as many of the shares he wants for his price. If he does not purchase all the shares, an opertunity will be given to the next highest bidder to purchase as many of the remaining shares he wants for the price of the highest bid. This process continues until there are no more shares left.

Let the auction begin!

550.

@jdd: My intention as CEO was to deposit the money into the company account should we encounter the need for it in the future.

Guys, use a little math here. I'm all for DFZ making some money but y'all are killing me!

The newspaper has a gross profit of 600g/issue.
The CEO earns 20% salary. This leaves 480g net/issue.
100 shares means each share earns 4.8g/issue.

At 550g, the investment will begin earning a profit after 115 issues.
Assuming 2 issues per week it will be 57.5 weeks (over 13 months) to see any recovery on an investment like this.

Using a period length of 1 term, assume 8.5 issues per period.
At 550g per share, this investment has an ROI of 7.4%.
A conservative ROI of 15% would dictate a maximum investment of 270g per share.
An investor's ROI of 30% would dictate a maximum investment of 135g per share.

You guys are out of control! :D

Seeing as there is sooo much interest in this auction, I would like to throw all 6 of my shares into the arena. I will start their bidding at 200g/a share.
If you feel like bidding on them, jsut put SS infront of your bid.

So much for my brilliant strategy for incrasing sale price...

Because I am unwilling (and financially unable) to purchase the shares, they will all be sold for 500g a piece. Procedes will be distributed to all shareholders, counting the new shares sold.

First come, first serve, and no limit.
