A file seems to be missing on my PTW setup.
After I get passed choice of terrain, civilization and such, PTW starts building up and then a window opens saying the file SettFiget.fln (or almost) is missing in the Art subdirectories, and that the game will close. And the game closes, crashing the computer as well.
Looking up in the subdirectories there is such a file for two periods but not for the first one. I figure that file refers to the Settler animation during the first period of the game. And obviously I can't play without it, so I understand why it closes.
Here are two questions:
1. Can I copy that file from the previous CivIII ? (if it exists)
2. Could one of you please send me his / her copy of that particular file ?

Try re-installing PTW, and if the file is still missing after a reinstall, you have a defective disc, and should contact Infogrames to get it replaced.

The settler flc's are in the original Civ3 installation, you might have to re-install that.

That's right - might as well install the whole thing again.
