Merc Jan 28, 2003, 10:09 PM Cause I can't find any. spycatcher34 Jan 31, 2003, 03:40 PM Don't think there are any cheats for either version. I wouldnt know about easter eggs though... Dead Ringers Feb 02, 2003, 12:46 AM i dont believe there are any for win version but there are cheats for dos but if you are running xp you cant play dos :( ddrmr2012 May 08, 2003, 04:29 PM Erm, I don't know if it's any help because I don't have any PC version, but on my old Amiga copy there was a cheat where you called a colony "Charlotte" when you founded it. Gave you 50K or something, if I remember correctly. Just set the compatibility mode to Win95 and it works like a charm. At least it does for me. dalgo Mar 25, 2004, 12:57 PM I'm also running under xp with no problems but I had to turn the sound off. The only cheat I know is Alt WIN (activates a cheat menu). Casteele Apr 08, 2005, 10:26 AM In the Windows 3.1/9x versions, ALT is a Windows reserved key. Therefore, you cannot use the ALT WIN cheat. However, if you hold down the CONTROL key, and type WIN, it'll add the cheats menu. The cheats are pretty much the same as the DOS version. bmlb Apr 08, 2005, 09:21 PM I used to cheat in DOS version by altering a text file (I think names.txt) It was easy, and worked ok. If you see that file, it should be easy to see how to manipulate it. just save a backup first, of course! |
