I'm not talking about someone to lead our government and be our DP. I'm talking about someone who will be our envoy with the other sites. Someone who will post our official civ choice where ever this game is being hosted. Someone who will keep us up to date on game news. (Like does anyone know if they started without us? ;)

Let's use this thread to nominate a team captain so we can get one elected soon. We'll also have to decide thiings like whether team captain should be permanent position and if we need a deputy team captain.

I nominate Donsig :) It should be a flexible permanent position, they will hold it until they dont want it or cant work it around his/her schedule.

I would like to be the team captain. I have been in touch with Kentonio and the people at the 1BC UN Forums about the game since it was proposed. I was also the de facto team captain before these forums were created.

Shesh, All I did was Third Naervod (edited my post actualy). No need to start the "Player Bashings"

Naervod's done a fine job at this since the beginning, no reason he shouldn't continue. I'll fourth him I s'pose ;-)

I 5th Naervod, because I can, and he's good.

Then I will 6th him... looks good from what I've seen around.

There seems to be universal suport for naervod as team captain. In light of this I suggest we skip the poll phase and name him Team Captain by acclamation! Since I was also nominated I will gladly act as naervod's deputy team captain if the people so desire. I also think the Team Captain job should be a permanent one, a lifelong appointment so to speak.
If there are any objections to this please speak up!

I think the Team Captain should open a thread for news and such. It would be nice to have a link to the site that is hosting the game. We also need to know the deadline for picking our civ, how our choice is to be submitted, etc. Also, what about the game parameters? Have any been decided? Will the teams be able to vote on map size, etc.? The Team Captain should be guiding us in these matters!

I will make a team captain poll in a few hours. Donsig, do you want to run for captain or should it just be me and Goonie?

I 'd rather bow out of the race in the hopes that the loser between our two fine candidates will consent to being a deputy team captain.

There is no need for a poll now. Goonie has shown an amazing dedication to this and I feel it would only be fair to let him be the team captain. I will be the deputy team captain.
