I have successfully installed and run Civ3. I installed PTW, but the game does not launch. It's a process running in the background that just hogs cpu cycles.

Is this a known problem? Is there a solution?

I'm running Windows 2000, GeForce3 Ti 200, 1 gig ram, and 2.2 Ghz p4, and I've got the latest PTW patch.

edit: I've also installed the latest video card drivers and run windows update, to no avail.
