Which civilization traits are the best or most important?

This is a multi-choice poll.

Dern it! Accidentally hit expansionist instead of commercial! For some reason, I was thinking economics...

Vote = Expansionist, Industrious, Militaristic.

Expansionist is a great trait for hitting the ground running at the start of a game. The ability to build granaries from the get-go and the high potential for free tech acquisition from goodie huts can often be translated into an early game lead in almost all areas.

From the look of the bar chart I think everyone is already fully aware of the benfits of Militaristic & Industrious civs :D

Go commercial + scientific. Commercial compliments scientific - that extra trade takes off about 20 turns of reseach in the ancient era, plus the three free techs (lets say they take 8 turns each normally) that is over forty turns ahead of the opposition. This suggests the Greeks or Koreans.
