Continents or Pangea would be good. Archipalago can be often unfair.

anyway, DONT GO RANDOM FOR LANDMASS TYPE! we might get archipalago, which is ok for small maps with high land coverage, but can be irritating if the random generator gives low % water coverage.

Archipalago can not go. And I'm with everyone else. But if I have to choose, then at least Warm, middle wetness (temperate?), and probibly 4 bil. yrs old.
But random still has my vote.

Maybe cold, wet. Not archipelagio.

Cold and wet... type I like continental or archipelago.
