This scenario for CIV5 without any mods and DLCs. This is small map of Europe with found capitals for every civilization. This is very fast turning and good balanced map for pleasant play even on slow computers all evening long!

Installation details -
1- download file and unzip ( 1024AD-Ancient Europe ) to (user)/my documents/my games/civ5/maps folder
2- launch you civ5 - go to mods ( accept )- single player - set up game - click on earth and find "1024AD-Ancient Europe" map - check in "Load Scenario"
3- take any of Civilizations and "Start Scenario"

Special thanks to Felly for the great map! (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=432621)

I advise to use special speed turn mod (http://forums.civfanatics.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=275128&d=1292006832) to play this scenario.

St-Petersburg should not be the capital?

St-Petersburg should not be the capital?

It is not. There are 2 cities per each country.

St. Petersburg was founded specifically for being Russia's new capital. But this happened roughly 700 years after the year 1024 ;)

Yes, I know it. This was already discussed in my another scenario. The problem is that AI doesn't really build cities next to the water. So I had to place second town for each nation next to the water ( for France, Germany and Russia )

How so? Russia didn't have any harbours until they built/conquered some (Kiev Rus might have around 1024 AD, though). Moscow around this time wasn't an important city either, Kiev was. If you'r going to call the scenario "1024 AD" it might at leats have some resemblance to 1024 AD... ;)

Dude, Sweden is included to G&K only. So, yes, their is Sweden in this scenario for G&K. As for vanilla version of civ5, Scandinavia is presented as City States in this scenario ... I'm not sure what else can be done for this scenario based on "no mod" version of the game.
