Truronian Feb 20, 2012, 02:57 PM Delayed response to contre's PM: I can turn it over in a week, no probs. Heretic_Cata Feb 20, 2012, 04:04 PM So how many pictures of penises can we expect ? CivCube Feb 20, 2012, 04:06 PM All of them. SiLL Feb 20, 2012, 04:21 PM Don't be silly. We got two vaginae. Valka D'Ur Feb 20, 2012, 04:30 PM Guys, it was stated from the get-go that these pictures are not to violate any CFC rules. The idea is that they're going to be posted here when contre gets the camera back. CivCube Feb 20, 2012, 04:31 PM Darn. I have a lot of naked geese in my picture. Some of them are even frolicking. Valka D'Ur Feb 20, 2012, 04:36 PM I think you're okay, in that case. CFC rules don't state anything about frolicking geese. Actually, I'd worry if you had stopped to make sure they were wearing clothes before taking a picture... :hmm: Boundless Feb 21, 2012, 12:32 PM Suggestions for suitably witty titles for the rival thread/camera please? Yes, and it was a little awkward on my end as well, b/c apparently UPS's system won't let you send something without a name, and I didn't have one at the time. 'madviking' seemed innocuous enough so I used that so I could get it out. contre Mar 20, 2012, 12:27 AM Shoulda rented a bezerker costume and came back for it. But that doesn't mean you have to use your real name Just a valid address. And, in any case, it was UVA, not USPS, that looks to be Madviking's problem here. madviking Mar 20, 2012, 12:20 PM okay...I finally got the package in my arms. Off to take my photo. Cheers. warpus Mar 20, 2012, 12:20 PM I wonder if addressing it to "The Viking living at:" would have had any more success madviking Mar 20, 2012, 01:47 PM Off to Cutlass Cutlass Mar 20, 2012, 04:05 PM Thursday and Friday I'm going to Long Island. IglooDude Mar 24, 2012, 08:08 AM I will abide by Contre's turnaround-time rules (would do so anyway) if I'm still in the chain. Cutlass Mar 24, 2012, 08:54 AM I just recieved the camera. It shows 26 pictures left to take. Would you mind if I typed my picture notes and stapled them in the notebook? I'm sure CFC would be delighted if I delayed taking a picture until June 12. Traitorfish might have a chance to do it, though. Truronian May 20, 2012, 09:15 AM The torch just went past me. Waited for about 45 minutes for it to actually arrive. About fifteen minutes before the torch came through there were three advertising vans (one for coke, one for Lloyds's TSB and one for Samsung) who all lamely tried to get the crowd in a frenzy. The bus driver who took a wrong turn and ended up in the middle of the ad vans got the biggest cheer. On the whole it was thoroughly anticlimactic. Kan' Sharuminar May 25, 2012, 02:37 PM Apologies for the slight delay there - camera and stuff is all packaged up now. I'd noticed their absences, but hadn't realized the gravity of the situation - I figured it was CFC vacations like most of us who have been at CFC occasionally take. I'm glad they're still partaking in the camera chain letter, but it's unfortunate they won't be here when the results arrive. I am glad there's still progress, and that there might yet be results, even if 80 days proved to be an optimistic goal. (I'm so relieved that the package arrived.) SiLL Aug 11, 2012, 06:48 AM But where does the candy come from? I am curious, because the notebook matches the colors of the bag and I by that concluded that the great Creator himself (the wicked dare to speak his "true" [HA such hubris] name - rumored to be contre - but I don't posses the ungodly hubris myself to make such a claim) put it in the bag HIMSELF so it may be good and great (it matches the colors granted by his GRACE).
