I hate for this to be my first post on these forums, but I CAN'T play the game anymore(by anymore I mean, after I got my Radeon), and this is very, very frustrating. Every time I try to play, it crashes at different times depending on what mode I pick( ). If I pick start new game, it crashes after i pick land mass and such and click "next", it just gives me an illegal operation and closes in that sort. If I click load game, bam, instant crash. If I click quick start however, it gets me in the game actually, but when I try to build my first city, BAM, "Unable to allocate draw-buffer" or some sort, my first REAL error that gives me a lead. I checked the website if this problem was listed, and of course it was, and of course it was with my video card. Their solution was "update to latest drivers and it should go away". Now I think I have the latest drivers , but every time I try to install them again just to make sure, I get an illegal operation about half way through and I have to ctrl+alt+delete to even get outta the set up program.

I'm at a dead end, getting no help where I ask, and clueless to any solutions.

AMD Athlon XP 1800 1.4gz
330mb SDR
ATI Radeon 9000 Pro 128mb DDR
Win 98/Se
60gb hd
ALi black magic chipset I believe....

Any help whatsoever, any at all, would be GREAT appreciated, because this problem is more than tedious to me.
