I have been playing Civ3 for a few weeks now but I have not yet figured out how to make an army. :confused:

I get a leader once in a while but what is exactly the keystroke sequence to use that leader to make the army? I put all the military units I wish to form the army in one stack with the leader and keep pressing 'B' but nothing happens, not even an error message :(

You need to turn the leader into an army which is done in a city. There is an icon in the lower-middle that peroforms this function - once in a city. Then, you can load units. I recommend loading identical units. If you load 2 cavalry and a rifleman, your army will have the movement rate of the rifleman = 1.
