How do i get this to work. Where must i store it in??? In ...Civilization III\Art\units\worker or some other place? Can someone give me advice?? it's a 3 step process: 1) add the unit into the biq file through the editor. go to the 'units' tab and then hit 'add'. it's here that you can give the unit its attack/defense/movement stats. you can also dictate if a certain tech is necessary to build this unit. be thorough in examining all of the options about the units in the editor. make sure to flag the unit with worker actions such as irrigate, build road, etc. be sure to highlight the civs that you want to build this unit, too. you'll also want to type the following into the Civilopedia entry space: PRTO_Escorted_Worker. 2) open the PediaIcons.txt file. there are two entries in the PediaIcons file that you need to put in. cycle down about half way and you'll see where PediaIcons.txt is telling the game to look for the Civilopdia pictures (small & large). i think it goes something like this: PRTO_Escorted_Worker art/civilopedia/units/escortedworker-large.pcx art/civilopedia/units/escortedworker-small.pcx you'll need to make sure that those pcx files that you're telling the game to look for are named just that: escortedworker-large & escortedworker-small. you can find out for certain by looking in the Escorted Worker folder (this is where the small and large pcx files should be). if they aren't in there, simply tell the game to look for the regular worker pcx pics instead. after you've finished that, cycle down to the very end of the PediaIcons.txt file. this is where you'll find the ANIMNAME_PRTO entries. under the last entry, type in: ANIMNAME_PRTO_Escorted_Worker Escorted Worker save the PediaIcons file and close out of it. 3) now, open up the Civilopedia.txt file. cycle down to where you see the Units. underneath the last entry, type the following: PRTO_Escorted_Worker ^ ^ ^ you can add in a custom description if you want. look at how the other Civilopedia entries are done and copy that format. save your Civilopedia.txt file and exit out of it. that's it! you should be able to use the Escorted Worker in-game now. oiled snake Oct 11, 2004, 12:42 AM Is there any anim??? :) W.i.n.t.e.r Aug 14, 2005, 09:58 AM where did this anim dissapear to? :o Yondaime Dec 09, 2005, 04:35 PM Another huge, 1 year bump...lol.
