IOT-ALTERNATE UNIVERSE

Allright, now I know I am a new hand at this but I have been developing a somewhat complex IOT that should turn out pretty good if all goes well. Rules, intro, and how to create your nation shall be posted on this thread this weekend. Map is in this post. I am accepting up to 15 countries right now so you can reserve a name now if you wish. I will obviously be the GM. Updates should be quite frequent but I want lots of stories behind what you do and lots of player interaction.

Ok everybody! Sorry I have been gone all this time but I am back now. Thanks SK for letting everybody know. Hopefully you guys are still with this so I will be compiling a list of countries which will be up today or tommorow and then I will have the rules, backstory, and everything else up this weekend. Claims will be allowed as soon as I post the rules. You will be claiming 4 territories soon so have some in mind and backstories too please!!! Resources in territories will be revealed soon too so keep an open mind.

Ok, first off, I said think about what you want to claim so that you can take those provinces when i post the rules, not already claim them. But since you guys already have done claims everybody can claim 4 territories now and NO MORE!! Or those extra provinces will be nuked and your country will be in absolute chaos. :nuke: GM is the only one that has nukes until later in game. :king: Rules will be up later tonight or tommorow and in a new thread so once I post those this thread will be abandoned and you will have to post your four claims in the new thread.

Nah, I'm probably in too much stuff right now. Plus I don't really like small province count games, especially because they tend to die in about a month.

History: For more than 200 years the german people were divided in city states and minor kingdoms. The king of the city state of Berlin, Otto von Christos decided that it was time to unite germany. He started with 5.000 men and at the bettle of saxony he defeated 13.000 troopers. Soon city after city and kingdom after kingdom fell to his hands. The germans, who wanted their indepedence, decided to declare the federation of Rhine. Soon Christos with an army of 40.000 defeaded 1.000.000 enemys and he lost only 1000 soldiers while the enemy loose 890.000 troopers. In order to crush once and for all the federation and unite germany he maked a deal with the mongols ( also know as huns) who lived near Germany. With an army of 800.000 he took over the rest federation. The king of saxony sended an army of 967.000 but no one returned back. Soon the King of saxony told Christos that he will give him half of his land for peace and 2.000.000 gold. But christos refused. Soon Saxony was under german control. Meanwhile the mongols fearing the power of Christos decided to betray him. So 689.000 mongols attacked the 24.000 soldiers of Christos at the night. The army of Christos was crushed but he managed to escape. At the same time the mongols fred one by one the german states. After Christos created a new army he had to fight both the mongols and the germans. With an army of 300.000 he attacked 1.899.000 Mongols and germans. He won and no one survived from the enemy. He soon burned most german cities and the land. He freed the slaves and killed the noble men. Soon peasants and Slave revolts happend and helped Christos win once and for all the german states. Now after a long time germany is united.

Here is the backstory only.

BACKSTORY: HOW IT ALL BEGAN…

In the early twenty-first century, around 2025, a scientist whose name is still unknown, but is believed to be affiliated with many superpowers of the day, created a machine that would make space travel possible and practical by jumping through alternate universes and landing wherever they want in their universe that had one changed factor, the number that appeared on the screen of the machine. The machine had been able to transport the scientist from Australia to Russia with no problems and so the first space test was scheduled. When the space test was initiated, there was a malfunction and the safety on the machine didn’t stop the machine from using the same number again. Suddenly the machine disappeared and so did people from all over the planet. Soon every single person from the present and even some from the past were flung into a world similar to earth but with one major difference. The repeated number had been .5 and when people looked into the sky, they saw only half moon and half a sun, yet the temperature was about the same. These people had had some of their basic technology sent with them but many of the people didn’t make it along with the tech. So the population of humans left broke into countries and claimed a small part of their “new” world as their nation!
