I paid for and downloaded the newest civilizations and scenarios but when I try to turn them on in the mods area it says it's blocked by exclusivity. What does that mean and why should it be blocked since I paid for it?

If you paid for DLC, and downloaded it, then you don't need a mod.

It's just part of the game. If you're trying to mess around with it in the mod section, then you're likely doing something wrong.

Yeah, I am messing around in the mod area but when I try "set up a game" all it does is crash, regardless what mods I have turned on or off. All the mods I am trying are from this month.

The only thing I can get to work is the "custom game" part of the single player, Paradise Found or whatever it is. I have no clue what I'm doing wrong. :sad:

After you bought DLC, you have to restart steam to make it work.

You don't turn the scenarios on in the mod area - it is 'Play game --> Scenarios'

Ok. I understand about the scenerios now. I was just curious since they were greyed out and I couldn't put a check on them so thanks for setting me straight on that part.

It's all the other mods I can't get to work under the "mods", "single player", "setup a game" thing.
