An idea for Campaign Edition for enhance the single and local multiplayer...

I tried to add Vadus Earth but maps folder didn't let me me to add it...

how about Aspyr could create standard size of Earth with real locations for ressources, civs and city-states and offering this for free...

For rewarding those who have bought Campaign Edition and their patience...

Aspyr could be inspired by Vadus World...
And offering two or three things could boost theirs sales of Campaign Edition

Edit : i tried but scenario didn't functionned...

Unfortunately Aspyr only port the game so you aren't going to get any exclusive content at all.

Also I don't really see why you would feel the Campaign Edition deserves more then the Steam Version, other than I suppose you can't do MP over the net and No DLCs, then again no cross platform on Steam makes it nearly as bad as not having MP at all. Too be fair the Campaign Edition did come with Babylon DLC as an extra where as the steam version you had to pay extra. So swings and roundabouts I guess.

Also I'd prefer they focus on getting the Mac version (both Camp. Ed. and Steam) un to date with the PC version. And to focus on a way to get the DLCs to the Campaign version (hopefully Apple will allow in game DLC purchases from Apps on the Mac App Store like they currently do on the iOS apps store).

I don't have the Campaign version and Ive not dabbled in User created scenarios or maps but I think if the scenario is in the right format it can be played on the mac no problem as long as its placed in the right folder inside the package. Maybe someone else can help you there. Alan is normally pretty nice and might know :D

Working on it! We're currently testing in-app purchase of DLC for the Mac App Store. If all goes well, then it'll be in the update that will bring the game up to date with the PC version.

I'm satisfied that soon Campaign version will be up to date like Steam Versions...

App Store is less intrusive than Steam...

Vadus World is a map file (at least the one I found here (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=394987) is). So ...

1 Unzip it and put the resulting Vadus_World.Civ5Map file in the following folder:

/Users/<your-name>/Library/Application Support/Civilization V Campaign Edition/Maps/

2 Launch Campaign Edition

3. Select Single Player ->Setup Game -> Advanced Setup

4. Click Map Type and select Vadus_World. It was at the bottom of a long list on my system.

5. Change any other game settings you wish, and start the game. Done - it works here.

I didn't ... but I'm crazy enough to take any question as a challenge, and try to answer it. I think it's a genetic defect.
