Which way do you think is best to increase our science research?

There's two other things too - (VERY important) Markets and Banks.

Uh.... How will that help us research faster?

Good point Chieftess :)

@Strider: libries? What in the world is a "libries"?

To help clarify things the libries is supposed to be libraries

More commerce.

Look at it this way:

8 gpt with 50% science is 4 gold for science.

12 gpt (1 market I think) is 6 gold for science

16 gpt (1 bank I think) is 8 gold for science.

If all of our cities were like that, 20 turns at 50% would be 10 at 50%. Add in libraries and universities, and we'll do pretty good. (of course, these are theoretical estimates)

I think a combo of these things would be helpfull.

Speaking from experience as a Science Minister over at Apolytonia, the market approach, combined with democracy and a decent budget, works extraordinarily well. I cannot stress enough the importance of them.

Consul Thud speaks from wisdom. Markets, librairies, and a modest science slider will do wonderful things for your intellectual rep.

as many markets as libraries. as many banks as universities. that is how I do it.

And we wont loose money from putting banks up. Thanks to Adam Smith.
