Wolfshade Nov 02, 2011, 08:41 AM ceaser, there's an idea for you to stop spamming with your pseudo-ideas and pseudo-scenarios. Deal. Infracted for flaming. ceaser1345 Nov 02, 2011, 08:43 AM ceaser, there's an idea for you to stop spamming with your pseudo-ideas and pseudo-scenarios. Deal. fine and Im not trying to spam anyone Wolfshade Nov 02, 2011, 08:47 AM You're not tryin'. You're doin'. Feel the difference. ShiroKobbure Nov 02, 2011, 12:45 PM I think you should play around with the rules more, and learn more about modding. Then you could revise the scenarios you already made and make them much more appealing. Moosezilla Nov 05, 2011, 08:41 AM Learning is not always easy, but it beats the alternative. While raw ideas can have a place, perhaps a thread that consolidates them could be better for this forum. And yes, you will cause discussion, and hopeful, constructive comments. I enjoy your enthusiasm and do not want to discourage you. I do not have a sig but I often mention "I don't know nuttin'!" Ozymandias Nov 05, 2011, 09:56 AM Here, I'll take you seriously, although I can't find any common ground between the two ideas you mentioned: 30 Years War Russo-Swedish War Russo-Japanese War "War Plan Orange" (USA vs. Japan 1930s) Boer War USA Empire "Banana Republic" Wars Spanish-American War Hypothetical WW2 1946 (when Speer wanted to start The War) Hypothetical Sino-Soviet War 1970s ... Enough for now ... Best, Oz WildWeazel Nov 05, 2011, 10:54 AM Shiro has a point. You seem to have a lot of ideas, but so far we haven't seen much execution (I realize you've posted a couple of simple scenarios- keep that up). So it's perhaps hard to get people interested if they haven't seen that you can pull a serious project together. There are plenty of tutorials and ideas floating around- just pick something, work hard on it until it's done, and if people are interested they will join you :) ceaser1345 Nov 05, 2011, 12:54 PM Thanks guys for all the comments. And the USA with the Bannanna Republic Wars idea seems pretty cool. |
