I purchased, and registered Civ3 Standard. Is it possible to start the game without the CD in the drive? If so, how?
Also, I understand it is possible to change the game end date from 2050. How?
Thanks

1. You need the CD to start Civ3, but you can safely remove the CD once you have started your game, that is if you have done a Full install ;).
2. Its done through the editor. IIRC it can only be done with PTW.

You're right, CG. :goodjob:
1. If you have a *need* to run without the CD in the drive, you can contact Infogrames, and they can provide that support.
2. The PTW Editor allows you to change the end-date, as well as the "time" between turns - some scenarios use months, or even days, for their turns.
