I imagine the position is yours, unless EA wanted to resubmit his self nomination. Then we could have another election.

Well, I only selfnominated since it looked like Zarn wanted some competition, as a good gesture I supose. If you guys want another election, it's fine by me. If you want me to be the governor it's also fine. It is up to you guys :)

The president should appoint the new gov. unless Zarn left a governer pro tempore.

Article M of the new Constitution seems to cover this situation. It states:

Article M. In the event the positions of Domestic, Foreign Affairs, or any Judicial position becomes vacant, the President shall apoint a new leader to fill the vacant position.
In the event the military, science, or any governorship position becomes vacant, the Domestic Leader shall apoint a new leader to fill the vacant position.
In the event the culture, trade, or any Ambassador position becomes vacant, the Foreign Affairs Leader shall appoint a new leader to fill the vacant position.
In the event the President vacates his/her position, the domestic leader shall become President, and shall appoint a new leader to be domestic leader.
All appointments must be approved by the Council.
In the event any leader takes a temporary leave of absence, he shall appoint a pro-tempore official to fill that position until the leader shall return.


This means that the Domestic Leader (GBM) would appoint you as Governor, EA and then our President Octavian X (or someone he designates) would run a confirmation poll past the council. This would be a narrative poll, requiring only a YES, NO, or ABSTAIN response from each member.
