Not much happened this turn. After some discussion, it was decided everything was good as-is.

The game road will be complete in 2 turns. Otherwise, everything else you should know will be in the attached zip file containing screenshots.

I am testing something that may allow us to use the file server. When you unzip the file, it should ask for a password. It is:
2126900
If everybody gets that message for the password with different programs, it should have worked. I've tested it with WinZip and the default Windows XP compression utility: it worked both times. Remember, if you need that password at any point, my test worked and we can use the fileserver.

Here is the Chat Log of the Turn we played :).

Screen shots are great! :goodjob: Password seems to work, too.

I think our first warrior should move south then east then east again to the hill. Our second city should be to the east or south east depending on what we find out there.

Did you bump the science rate back up? (It's at 80% in your picture).

Welcome back, donsig.

The city screen is fine but the map is a bit small. Can we get a screenshot of just the map next time so it's bigger? Shouldn't we be keeping a running log of zips?

I agree with sending the warrior SSE first and then hitting the mountains and coastline.

Oh, and btw, when I tried to D/L the two screenshots, I typed in the password for the chat room by mistake :). Winzip8.1 told me that I had the password wrong, but it still gave me both screenshots, D/L'd perfectly. We might want to double check just how secure this is.

Hmm... I tried to duplicate those results but I couldn't.

Are you running Win98SE and Winzip8.1?

No, I'm running WinXP and Winzip8.1.

We may have found a glitch.

The last image had the password. The other 2 didn't. Now that one screenshot (top5) could be a SOTD. Us, then Apolyton. ;))

Surprise, the password even works with StuffIt Expander 6.5.1 for Mac OS X! Usualy, it doesn't ask for it and just open the file…

Chieftess is correct. There were three files. Cyc, you probably got the two images that didn't have a password. You see, there was a picture of the maps, also.

I have an idea. Would you like me to create a geocities acount for our screenshots? No one would ever guess that!

Hehehe - that answers the question. I guess I'll go back and get the 3rd pic. Thank you all.

EDIT: Yep works fine. Much better.

Hmm, I have Windows XP and I can acess the Zip file with no trouble. I can see three files in it already :).

@Octavian - Can you tell me how I can make my files in the zip, Password protected :).

When I went back to get the third pic, it asked me for the password before finishing (just like the first time). Then I put in the proper password and got the pic no problem. Question is, how come we only password protected one of three pics?

I am using a Dell, as I am telling CG in a chat room, and I can see a 3 of the files. Three problems. And they all say the same thing.

The Land.jpg does ask for a password but after I enter the password, that message, again, comes up.

Can we close these old turns so it doesn't get confusing?
