These are the five images that have been submitted to become CFC's official G&K icon (we didn't include Mercade's and General Olaf's because they're too tall, but Boundless' was based on that). If anyone wants to submit a new icon, we can have it as a late entry, but the competition will have had a head start!

I've voted for the 1st one, as adapted from my first shot and Olaf's updated version.

I Voted for the first one.

1st: It's simple, and it's concise.
2nd: my second choice though it's not clear that the sword icon is suppose to be an "&" sign.
3rd &4th: Work but the "&" doesn't appear on the box art so doesn't really fit to well.
5th: I give you props for creativity but it's to artsy for me and not everyone will get what it is.

When I looked at the OP, I thought #1. But after I did this comparison with the current other icons, I'd rather say #4 (Camikaze) or #2 (hoplitejoe). Not sure yet ;)

I like the 3rd one. The orange shaped like letters make this icon particular. Other icons are almost all white shaped. The 4th one is not bad too. But i had to vote.

#4. Probably doesn't matter now, but to me it seems much cleaner and easier to read.

I think Mercade requires the most credit for designing the letters and the dagger/cross, if it were not for the fact that I submitted one I would have voted for yours :)

Is there still going to be a second round if option 1 wins with the clear majority?

Maybe I´m getting blind but to me nr. 3 and 4 are almost the same. Their votes should be combined. Nr. 1 logo would not get that many votes if nr. 2 was it´s clone :mischief:

It does look stylish and cool, but is probably too different to the existing ones. I also like how due to the K = V thing it looks like GV, which is also a common abbreviation of "Geschlechtsverkehr" :D

So, can we conclude that with almost 60% of the popular vote, Boundless, based on General Olaf's, based on mine, is the winner? Seems rather pointless to have a 2nd round if one already got a simple majority.

The first one is my favorite too, this doesn't need anymore voting, just let boundless win :)

You may notice that a G&K icon has been added (today by ainwood). It's actually vexing's version of Boundless' version of General Olaf/Optical's version of Mercade's original (if I've got that right). We wanted it 12x28, so changed it accordingly, with the added bonus that it doesn't look quite as cramped now.
