New Regia Civitas
Regia Fanatica ( if that's the "correct" translation of Fanatic City)
Fanatic city

Maybe Trollhättan:D

The whole fancy name thing never really appealed to me. I"d be just as happy with something like
"Capital"
"Headquarters"
or "Number One" (especially if we go with a city cap!)

Or perhaps something demo-oriented like "Polling Booth", or "Parliament" etc.

Then there's always the more humorous angle with "You Are Here", or "Starting Over" or "Death to the AI"

Trollhatten has a nice ring to it, as well. ;)

Actually a funny mispelling of a swedish city name from someone calling himself Tim the enchanter as your version of the word would mean something like "wizard hat" in swedish

Other than that one I think Regia Fanatica would be a good name :D

I'm not too invested in the capital name, but I like Regia Fanatica best out of what I've heard here.

I agree with the comments of CECasander.
Maybe Regia Fanatica is the best name.

I propose The Akasha, Shinomen Forest (geographical location dependant) or Lunatic Pandora.

Maybe we should go from a Latin name to Greek...

Fanaticopolis wound be interesting...

Fanatika Magna would be good. That also leaves the second city name fairly obvious (Fanatika Parva.) Alternatively, we could use Major and Minor.

If we're going for a Greek name, might I suggest Megalopololis? It was a real place and is also the term for a collection of cities which have grown into one another (like Tokyo.)

Does the capital city have to be named with a word relating to fanatic? :( It was bad enough not having much of a choice in naming the civilization we will be playing. Lets try and be a bit more original and exciting!;)

Some more suggestions:

Angor Naga
Otosan Uchi (literal translation, Father Home)
Creations Asylum

The capital in the last game was called regia civitas:)
I'm for a non-latin name. It doesn't have to be greek though.

neither english nor american !
so what ? Martian ?
It could be : "MARTIAN-2003", or "Alinghi"...
