has anyone here played on a giant map. My computer could handle it so I have played a few maps that were as big as the game would let me make them (I think 253x253). They are very isolationist and make war difficult until orbital insertions, but still...

I tried it, and found so easy to win by Diplomacy with the Peacekeepers, and by Progenitor victory with the Caretakers.

I always play on huge maps, or sometimes, I customize and make a megamap. Usually, by this time, the game starts running a little slow.
