View Full Version : Election - T8 President Chieftess Mar 28, 2003, 07:14 PM This poll will remain open until the end of the month (GMT). CivGeneral Mar 28, 2003, 08:22 PM Go CivGeneral :D CivGeneral Waves from the Bar car of his Campaining Train Zarn Mar 28, 2003, 08:25 PM Go CG! You are the only one I would vote for over CT at this time. Octavian X Mar 28, 2003, 09:19 PM -_- You'd think the current President would have SOME clout... Feodor Ardent Mar 28, 2003, 10:22 PM Civilian presidents, no matter how competant, must always fear successful military leaders. A glich of human nature. PS At this point, after opening that stupid ad up for the 200th time, I am beyond hating "The Core" and am actively plotting ways to destroy all copies of the movie and slaughter its producers and their advertising agents in their sleep. And I'm far from the most violent member of this group. CivGeneral Mar 28, 2003, 10:57 PM Go GivGeneral :D CivGeneral Flys buy in his GG1 Train waving Donovan Zoi Mar 28, 2003, 11:39 PM My vote for President always goes out to the candidate that I believe can best forward the game in the chat, by making the right decisions and following directions closely. Of the three candidates here, I cast my vote for Chieftess. Not only has she risen to the occasion by offering the most thorough battle plans, she is also the best DP of the bunch(and she knows it!) :D Cyc Mar 29, 2003, 02:21 AM Hmmm. CG and Octavian X both frequent the Bavaria Castle... I think I'll vote in this poll on Sunday. Strider Mar 29, 2003, 08:54 AM I believe CT would be the best candidate for this poistion, but I already see that she has overwhelming support. So I'm going to vote for who I want as Vice President. Thus my vote goes out to CivGeneral. Noldodan Mar 29, 2003, 09:41 AM VOTE CG! Bootstoots Mar 29, 2003, 09:45 AM I'm new to this game, but it looks like Chieftess is the best-qualified, so I'll vote for her. Kennelly Mar 29, 2003, 10:16 AM Go CG,go! Chieftess Mar 29, 2003, 10:18 AM This is a tight race! Shaitan Mar 29, 2003, 10:23 AM I support Chieftess for President. As noted above she is the most polished designated player. Last term under Octavian X and CivGeneral had many missed instructions, idled forces and improperly assigned workers. Both of these men are dedicated and hard working but lack finess during game play. With a little more spit and polish (and gameplay experience) I would happily endorse either of them but that time is not now. CT's attention to detail and game knowledge is what we need during our turning point to domination of the world. CivGeneral Mar 29, 2003, 10:43 AM Who Knew that Electric Power is faster than Steam :D Go CivGeneral, Vote CivGeneral CivGeneral starts to notices that he is picking up 1950amps of power Paalikles Mar 29, 2003, 01:09 PM I agree with Shai, but take a look at my sig (*sigh* :D) naervod Mar 29, 2003, 01:13 PM CG for President! CivGeneral Mar 30, 2003, 10:49 PM In the GG1 Train Enginer Watto: *Sniff* *Sniff* Do I smell Smoke comming from the Motors CG: Whats the Situation? Enginer Watto: Ermm, the Motors are being Strained trying to keep up with the votes. We are picking up 1500amps from a 1200V Line now. Illa Go check onait right now. Minutes Later Enginer Watto: Ahh, here is de Problem, a couple of :smoke: smilies were on the track, hehe, you know we coda go to da... CG: Dont say a word Enginer Watto: Errm, wizit something I sad? CivGeneral Mar 31, 2003, 04:48 PM There is still time to Vote :D. (Hmm DZ is starting to get into me  ) Vote for CivGeneral. Donovan Zoi Mar 31, 2003, 05:36 PM Yeah, I do say that alot, don't I? Although with the polls closing in a half hour, this tactic may have come a bit late. But don't feel bad....it never works for me either. Enjoy the time off........ ;) CivGeneral Mar 31, 2003, 05:40 PM Originally posted by Donovan Zoi Yeah, I do say that alot, don't I? What Time off. I am planing to make the Best out of my Vice Presidential Office by helping out with CHieftess with the offline Preturn chat thingy :). Boy, I have a lot of VP Reformation plans :). Octavian X Mar 31, 2003, 05:56 PM  CivGeneral, trust me, you aren't gonna do a damn thing as Vice President. I have experience in that area. In the term I served under CT as VP, I never once played, nor did anyone else other than her (iirc). In terms 4 and 5 of DG1, and term 1 of DG2, I only remember ONE time when someone other that CT played - donsig at the victory chat. Just sit back, relax, and enjoy the Vice Presidential Hut. Chieftess Mar 31, 2003, 06:12 PM You weren't there the 2 times I couldn't play and Falcon played (twice). Took out the Iroquois (mostly) in Demogame 1. Stuck_as_a_Mac Mar 31, 2003, 06:13 PM And the second time Falcon played is when we went to 1.29, leaving a certain maccie out in the cold... Chieftess Mar 31, 2003, 06:16 PM Yeah, Falcon accidently played with that version. CivGeneral Mar 31, 2003, 06:21 PM I beleve I should play an active Role in the Demogame, Besides. I am just one step away from Being President. THis should be good progress :). donsig Mar 31, 2003, 06:29 PM Originally posted by Octavian X  CivGeneral, trust me, you aren't gonna do a damn thing as Vice President. I have experience in that area. Don't listen to him CG. I played the final chat in DG1 as VP because CT had something else to do that day. You have to always be ready to sit in the President's chair! :) CivGeneral Mar 31, 2003, 06:35 PM Originally posted by donsig Don't listen to him CG. You have to always be ready to sit in the President's chair! :) Yeah, like if that full time internship posistion pans out. (then again, it's probably for the summer...). On that day, I had to go "help" put in a new floorboard at my aunt and uncle's house. I could have brought the Civ3 CD along... My uncle has a PC with a cable connection. |
